Keurig Corporate Headquarters

This year has been busy at Onion 3D. We completed several projects for Symmes, Maini, & McKee in Cambridge, MA. In January we did 2 exterior views of the new Keurig Corporate Headquarters in Burlington, MA.

 

We combined existing CAD, Sketchup and BIM data to create 2 exterior renderings. The images needed to express a sense of vibrant life that the new building will provide both to employees and the community.

Working closely with designers, we chose to render in passes to tweak the colors of the building in order to match the specified finishes "on the fly". Although lighting affects color dramatically, we had to cheat a bit to get the cladding materials to resemble the chosen metal panels, precast concrete and glazing.
