Mech Attack
This is a clip of a Mech Warrior under attack on a city street. The sequence is made up of 4 shots, as seen from 3 cameras, including hand-held, stationary and aerial. Turn up the sound, too.
The modeling & animation was done using 3ds max. Composting, sound and editing done in After Effects & Premiere.
Although a departure from ArchViz work, this project was fun and used some of the animation tools in the newest max version.

CLOSED SOFTWARE SELLER Apple's attack on Adobe Flash might not have been a defense of open standards or a shift to HTML5 but because it is planning to release some closed technology of its own to replace Flash.

3D max camera and light rigs - download and use them
http://www.onion3d.com/blog_downloads.html
Here is a dome light rig, and a camera rig. Unzip the file to get them both. The camera is linked to 2 dummies, for better animation control - cleaner keyframing than a standard target camera.
